
Biography
Adam Meshejian is an American opera and musical theatre performer native to the Mobile metropolitan area. He began his undergraduate career at Faulkner State Community College touring with Sun Chief Sound. A recent graduate from the University of Southern Mississippi, Adam earned a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance degree with honors. In Summer 2018, he attended the International Performing Arts Institute in Germany to study Musical Theatre.

Adam has performed and toured in groups such as the Spirit of Southern as well as the Mississippi Bicentennial Singers and Dancers. Pre-professional mainstage performances range from Carmen, The Mikado, Rigoletto, The Phantom of the Opera, and Turandot to scene reviews including excerpts from Parade, The Glass Menagerie, and Les Misérables.

Regional credits include: La Bohème-Opera Mississippi, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, La Bohème-Natchez Festival of Music, Sister Act-EverBlue Arts, A Very Madd Tea Party!, I Want Candy, Making of Scrooge-OWA Parks & Resort/Seward Studios, RENT, 42nd Street, The Rocky Horror Show-Joe Jefferson Playhouse, You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown and Death Takes a Holiday-Chickasaw Civic Theatre, Bonnie & Clyde-Theatre98, Shrek the Musical-Orange Beach Performing Arts Center, and the table read for Runaway Home-The Gulf Coast Rep. He made his New York City debut as an ensemble member in the March 2025 concert stage reading of When Two of Us Meet: A New Armenian-American Musical presented at The Green Room 42.

Accolades include Outstanding Freshman Voice Award, Chamber Choir's Choice Award, Outstanding Sophomore Voice Award, The Music Theory Award, Sun Chief Sound Directors' Award, and the Fine Arts Award. He has also placed as a semi-finalist in the musical theatre and classical divisions for upper-class men at the 2017 NATS Regional Competition and placed 1st in the upper-class men's musical theatre division at the 2018 NATS Mississippi Chapter Competition. For his performance in RENT as Angel Dumott Schunard, Adam was awarded Outstanding Newcomer and Outstanding Performance by an Actor by Joe Jefferson Playhouse.

Aside from performing, Adam has also taught private voice as well as assistant stage managed Festival South's James & the Giant Peach with Hub City Players and assistant music and stage directed Twelve Days of Christmas for the Daphne High School choir department's madrigal dinner series. Recently he has performed as a soloist in JFM Performance’s The Best of Broadway: Mega Musicals Concert. He has also written and performed live sketch comedy as a current member of The Dude Cave. Their original shows include: Clean Up on Aisle 2, Comedy from the Crypt, A Sketch Comedy Show, and The Live Sketch Comedy Show presented at Crescent Theatre. In the summer of 2025, the group performed at the 8th annual 2nd Best Comedy Fest in Richmond, Virginia.

He earned a Performing Arts and Music Industry Essentials certificate from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts in hopes of building and sustaining artistic environments.

In his spare time, Adam blast all the pop girlies on full volume, obsessing over the potential of being Dylan O'Brien's future husband, singing while goofing at All Saints Episcopal Church, plotting word domination and snagging one too many iced coffees.
